TMZ: Lindsay Lohan Has Meth Addiction

The gossip Web site TMZ says actress Lindsay Lohan may be released on Sunday or Monday, and then will head to rehab to fight an addiction to meth.

TMZ says sources familiar with Lohan's legal case say her addiction problems are related to methamphetamine and opiate use, and that Lohan has also been diagnosed as bipolar.

The actress will go to a rehab center that deals with methamphetamine and opiate addictions, even though the rehab was not on a list of facilities recommended by the court. 

Lohan was taken away to jail on July 20  following a hearing in front of Superior Court Judge  Marsha Revel.

Lohan was sentenced for violating the terms of her probation by missing some alcohol education classes. She has been on probation since 2007 after pleading guilty to misdemeanor drug charges and no contest to three driving charges.

She was to serve a 90-day sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.

Nas Struggling To Pay Child Support

NAS has begged a judge to reduce the amount of cash he has been ordered to hand over to estranged wife KELIS in child and spousal support - because he can't afford the payment. Kelis filed for divorce from the I Can hitmaker, real name Nasir Jones, last year (09), just months before the birth of their first son, Knight. The couple has been caught up in a bitter legal battle for custody ever since and last month (Apr10), Nas was ordered to pay more than $87,000 in late spousal and child support and told to cover the Milkshake singer's legal and accounting bills. The judge also set the rapper's monthly spousal support payments at $10,000 , based on figures suggesting he earns $152,031 every month. But, in a new court filing, obtained by TMZ.com, Nas admits he pulls in "substantially less than that amount", and he has requested that officials take another look at his finances and recalculate his support payments.

Kelis Wants Her Divorce Now!

Looks like Kelis has NO problems letting go! According to TMZ, she’s putting a rush on her divorce with Nas. I wonder what she has up her sleeve:

Kelis wants to be legally divorced from Nas so bad — and so quick — she has filed papers with the court asking them to make the split official ASAP.

According to documents filed last week, Kelis said in a declaration,“… it would be in the best interest of both of us if our marital status is terminated as soon as possible.”

Because she fears that the legal proceedings could take years to figure out, Kelis has requested that the judge immediately terminate their marriage — and wait until a later time to resolve “all other issues.”

As for the odds that the two will rekindle their romance — Kelis stated, “I believe there is no possibility of reconciliation with [Nas].”
